Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly team at our well established Private Practice in Rodney Street providing Implant and General and Cosmetic Dentistry . As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
  • Providing chair-side support to patients during treatment, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
  • Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery and equipment, ensuring high standards of infection control are maintained at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient care.
  • Offering appropriate advice and guidance to patients on oral healthcare.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and cleaned in accordance with practice protocols.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

  • An accredited dental nursing qualification. Dental Nursing NVQ L3
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Nurse- paid by practice
  • Indemnity - paid by practice
  • Enhanced DBS check - paid by practice
  • Full Hep B Vaccinations and Titre tested
  • Experience in Implant nursing preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse within a dental practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in dental nursing.
  • Excellent opportunities to obtain Radiography Certificate
