Description

We’re looking for passionate and motivated qualified GDC registered dental nurse/s who has a high standard of cross infection and excellent patient care.
Temple Street Dental Practice is a mixed practice, offering specialist treatments in Implants, Invisalign and Endodontics. The team is culturally diverse, dynamic and is forward thinking.
The ideal candidate is required to be flexible, honest and reliable as well as willing to support colleagues in their day to day tasks.
Starting salary for qualified and GDC registered Dental Nurse £26,000.00 per annum dependent on experience and further certification post qualification.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Chairside Assistance: Assisting dentists during various procedures (fillings, extractions, root canals, etc.).
  • Patient Care: Providing support, advice, and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatments.
  • Infection Control: Maintaining a clean and sterile environment, sterilizing instruments, and following hygiene protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and other relevant data.
  • Stock Management: Ordering and maintaining supplies, including dental materials and equipment.
  • Reception: You may be required to assist the reception team at times.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • GDC Registration: You must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Dental Nursing Qualification: You will have a recognised dental nursing qualification (e.g., NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing).
  • Experience: At least 2.5 years experience in Practice setting.
