Nature Trail Nursery Heskin are looking for an enthusiastic & motivated individual to join their busy team.
Duties will be to:
-Ensure risk assessments and safeguarding duties are upheld at all times
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational activities
- Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Change nappies and assist with toilet training
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to multitask and prioritise the needs of multiple children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
