Description

We are an MCS and PAS2030 certified, TrustMark-registered eco installation company specialising in renewable energy solutions such as solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and heat pumps as well as the full suite of insulation measures. We are committed to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality installations that support the UK’s transition to net zero.
Due to growth of the business, we are seeking a hands-on, skilled Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to oversee our electrical work, ensuring compliance with NICEIC, BS 7671, and industry standards.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fully qualified electrician with at least NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • Current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
  • 2391-52 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification.
  • Experience acting as a Qualified Supervisor for an NICEIC-approved contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of BS 7671, Part P, and Building Regulations.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of electricians.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the company’s Electrical Qualified Supervisor, ensuring compliance with all certification requirements.
  • Oversee and sign off electrical installation work carried out by the company’s electricians and subcontractors.
  • Assist in installations including re-wires, and wiring up of solar PV, storage heaters and heat pump installations.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and relevant Building Regulations.
  • Carry out regular site audits and inspections to monitor the quality and safety of installations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to electricians, apprentices, and installation teams.
  • Ensure timely submission of electrical installation certificates and other regulatory documentation.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation, standards, and best practice in the electrical and renewables sector.
  • Support training and development within the electrical team.
