OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, with the ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves working with gymnasts of various skill levels, helping them develop their techniques, confidence, and love for the sport in a safe and supportive environment.
Gymmagic Pudsey are looking for multiple coaches. We are looking for a coach with British Gymnastics qualification Level 1 and above.
These roles are flexible with the hours and days worked but will include evenings and weekends.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in gymnastics or related disciplines.
  • Strong ability to educate gymnasts on techniques and strategies for improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with gymnasts of all ages.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young gymnasts to achieve their personal best.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and gymnast progress.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in gymnastics training.
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Coach and working alongside the Gymmagic Team, you will be responsible for coaching groups within our gym timetable including WAG Squad, Pre School and Recreational. This will include general coaching, planning of sessions, supporting the gymnasts through competitions where required, general maintenance of the gym.

  • Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts.
  • Instruct athletes on proper techniques for various gymnastics skills, including tumbling, balance beam, and uneven bars.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of each gymnast, providing constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages camaraderie and personal growth among athletes.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment.
  • Organise and lead sessions, ensuring that all activities are engaging and educational.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding progress and any concerns.
