Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the Christchurch team within our existing workshop on a consistent afternoon/evening shift. Mō te tūranga | About the role We have a comprehensive heavy vehicle workshop at our Hornby yard which provides mechanical services for all our plant and equipment. We also have onsite WOF testing, onsite Auto electrical, and an onsite paint shop that create the “One-stop-shop” for all vehicle repairs. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our afternoon/evening shift team to ensure we consistently deliver a quality service. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Servicing and repairing vehicles and plant. Completing inspections of vehicles and trailers. Reporting all failure/breakdowns/cause. Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with The ability to work a consistent afternoon/evening shift roster, generally worked between 12.00pm and 12.00am Monday to Friday. National Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering Full Class 1 Drivers Licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements would be advantageous) A strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems The ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision A proactive approach to Health and Safety – it’s our #1 priority!
