OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves repairs, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and other tasks to meet the needs of the business.

REQUIREMENTS

• HGV Licence (preferred)
• Experience and qualifies HGV Fitter
• City and Guilds NVQ3 or equivalent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• HGV Fitter: 2 years (required)

• Ensuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
• Carrying out general servicing and maintenance.
• Assisting in the fault diagnosis process.
• Complying with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
• Road testing vehicles when required (if holder of HGV licence).
• Ensuring that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.
• Completing relevant paperwork and documentation.
