Description Our Community Based Pre-Voc program located in Slingerlands, NY has a full-time 40-hour Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional or Habilitation Services Provider (QIDP/HSP) position available. The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm*, (* 30-minute unpaid lunch). Scheduling flexibility as dictated by program needs. The rate of pay is from $20.00-$22.00 per hour, based on qualifications for this position. The QIDP or HSP for developing and overseeing Staff Action Plans and safeguards/IPOPs with a sign-off from the Director or Assistant Executive Director. This position requires the application of professional skills in clinical areas. QIDP QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years of age. Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field including, but not limited to Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Psychology. One to two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards. To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC. This includes but is not limited to, Medication Administration, 1st Aid & CPR, Decision Driving, and SCIP-R. OR HABILITATION SERVICES PROVIDER Qualifications: 18 years of age. A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards. High School Diploma or equivalent required. College transcripts may be used in lieu of a High School Diploma or equivalent. To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC. This includes but is not limited to, Medication Administration, 1st Aid & CPR, Decision Driving, and SCIP-R. One to two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Some education preferred. What’s in it for You?
