Working Pattern:
22.5 hours per week over 3 or 4 days
OR
15 hours over 2 or 3 days

This is a hands-on finance role where you’ll report to the Managing Director and work closely with the management team. You’ll play a key role in improving our financial systems, managing monthly and annual reporting, and supporting long-term planning and compliance across the business.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and cash flow reports
• Oversee VAT returns, payroll checks, and pension submissions
• Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with auditors and tax advisors
• Reconcile balance sheets, stock valuations, and project accounting
• Improve and document financial controls and procedures (aligned with ISO 13485)
• Lead on budgeting and reforecasting (every 6 months)
• Support and mentor the finance team, overseeing ERP and ledger processes
• Work with our ERP system (WinMan) to identify and resolve anomalies and improve reporting
