JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team to deliver tutoring sessions every Saturday 10am to 2pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves teaching mathematics concepts to students, managing classroom behaviour, and providing support to individuals with diverse learning needs. The successful applicant will also engage in creative teaching methods that inspire students and enhance their understanding of mathematical principles.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field is essential; teaching qualifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is required, preferably in early childhood education or preschool environments.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with students and parents.
• Proven ability in behaviour management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.
• Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is advantageous.
• Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
