OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner level 3 to join our team.
We are a small homely nursery which we strive to provide home from home childcare for our children and parents.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children. If you have experience working with children, excellent communication skills, and a passion for early childhood education, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Observe and monitor children’s behavior, documenting any concerns or milestones
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery
- Assist with daily routines such as diaper changing, feeding, and potty training
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a group of children while maintaining a safe environment
The right candidate will be part of a small staff team and will be included in staff appreciation meals and team building events.

A CHILDCARE QUALIFICATION, LEVEL 3 IS ESSENTIAL AND 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN ESSENTIAL.

We are offering work on a part time or full time basis and we are flexible with working hours between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday daytimes only.
Any appropriate training will be provided.
All successful applicants will be required to attend an interview ,complete an enhanced DBS and provide suitable references.
As we strive for a work life balance we are closed Xmas eve and for 1 week over Xmas.
