We’re expanding and opening a brand-new room for our Little Buds (age 2 years, 15 spaces daily), and we’re looking for a passionate Room Leader to help us shape this exciting new chapter. This role offers a unique opportunity to make the room your own, lead your team with vision, and create an inspiring environment for children to thrive.
We have recently received our Ofsted inspection and report, which we are deeply proud of, and as we continue to grow there will be plenty of opportunities for you to develop into more senior roles within our nursery. We are also introducing Forest School at Rosewood, offering you the chance to train as a Forest School Leader and expand your professional journey even further.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading your room team to deliver outstanding care and learning opportunities.
• Supporting the Manager and Deputy in the smooth running of the nursery.
• Creating and implementing engaging plans in line with the EYFS and our nursery curriculum.
• Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of every child in your care.
• Acting as a Key Person for children, supporting their learning journey and development.

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years.
• Experienced in working within a childcare setting and confident with the EYFS.
• Able to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
• Professional, reliable, and organised.
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
• Confident in building strong relationships with families and external professionals.

It would be great (but not essential) if you also have:

• Previous experience in a leadership role.
• Confidence in organising events and leading team practice.

Hours
Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm (40–45 hours per week, fixed days).
