What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of Children and Young People in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that.
As a Teacher of CYP with Hearing Impairments, you will be developing your specialist skills to work with children and young people who are hearing impaired. You will be an outstanding practitioner where you will make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people in Somerset.
Your day-to-day work will involve:
Supporting the learning and development of children and young people with hearing impairment attending early years, mainstream and special education settings in Somerset and develop practice that is inclusive of hearing impairment.
This is a pivotal role reporting to the Lead Teacher for the Sensory Support Team, providing a mentorship programme for all new members of staff.
