We are an established Small Animal Practice in the heart of Worcester, with a loyal client base and a dedicated veterinary team. We currently comprise of 3 vets, 3 qualified nurses,1 Practice Manager and 2 receptionists.
We have also opened a branch clinic in the area of St Peters, Worcester. All staff work at both locations so a driving licence is also essential
Previous experience is essential along with a great attitude and a strong work ethic

Normal working shift pattern for 37.5 hours p/w would be: 8:00-16:00, 8:00-12:30am -16:00-19:30pm on split days and 11:30-19:30pm
Saturday mornings are required at a ratio of 1:4

Responsible for maintaining day to day duties of care and administration
·Care for hospitalised patients- including patient monitoring and health checking, feeding, grooming, and walking animals
·Dispatch lab work
·Perform diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays
·Prepare animals for surgery and perform some minor procedures, e.g., suturing wounds and dental hygiene
·Monitor anaesthesia
·Assist veterinary surgeons with operations
·Work to the professional code of conduct
·Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the practice
·Confidently handle and restrain animals
·Scheduling appointments for clients and patients
·Dealing with payments
·Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post/deliveries

·Cleaning out kennels and isolation
