About the project

We're supporting the delivery of a major mission-critical construction project in the Dresden area and are looking for an experienced QA/QC Lead to join the team on a freelance basis for around 12 months. It's a great opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile, fast-moving build and own quality across the project.

What you'll be doing

• Leading QA/QC on site and making sure work is delivered to spec and standard
• Managing inspection and test plans (ITPs) and keeping quality documentation in order
• Carrying out inspections and sign-offs, and tracking any non-conformances through to close-out
• Working closely with contractors, engineers and the project team to keep quality on track
• Reporting on quality status and flagging issues early

What we're looking for

• Solid QA/QC experience on construction, infrastructure, industrial or fit-out projects
• Familiar with inspection and test plans, quality documentation and handover packs
• Comfortable coordinating contractors and teams on a live site
• Good communication skills and a hands-on, proactive approach
• Based in or able to work on-site in Dresden
• English essential; German is a plus.

Nice to have (but not essential)

• Data centre or other mission-critical experience
• MEP, electrical or commissioning quality background
• Freelance/contracting background
