About the role
In this key role as Quality Advisor you will support our Residential Aged Care operations to meet compliance requirements and implement & maintain the required supporting systems and processes. This is a permanent full-time position and will be based at our office in Redfern - Sydney.
You will work along another Quality Advisors (RAC) report to and are supported by the General Manager Care Quality and Compliance in Residential Aged Care . You may be involved in other related quality activities, e.g. peer review, as per the requirements of the Organisation. Intra- and interstate travel to the our aged care centres will be required.
Role & Responsibilities

You will support a RAC portfolio in specific inter- and intrastate locations with:

  • support of improved outcomes via action plans / programmes for continuous improvement
  • monitoring CIR resolution, PCI progress, clinical performance and regulatory compliance;
  • implementation of new policies, procedures and work instructions
  • rectification action plans arising from internal audits, review audits or complaint investigations
  • provide guidance and support leading up to, during and post visits by the regulator
  • support the drafting of submissions and responses to the ACQSC or other regulatory parties
  • validating assessments of program quality and clinical risk
  • induction support for new centre/site/program managers in TSA quality framework and systems and quality expectations
  • manage accreditation applications
  • provision of clinical advice and support to leaders and staff
