POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Downtown Office/Client office at a minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
The QA will perform manual testing as well as write automation scripts for test data creation. QA will perform all STLC-related tasks and will work with the business and QA Teams to ensure that the requirements are implemented as per the expectations.

• Basic commands of the mainframe for navigatio

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with the Business Analysis team to understand business requirements.
• Work on reviewing requirements, creating test strategy/test plan/test exit report, test cases creation, test execution, bug reporting, and uploading test cases to JIRA.
• Perform functional/end-to-end/regression/system testing.
• Perform backend data validation in the mainframe.
• Write IBM DB2(Similar to SQL) queries to find data from the mainframe table.
• Coordinate with Dev and BA to resolve reported bugs.
• Should be able to work independently on project testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
