Description Job Title: Quality Analyst FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Software Development Reports To: Manager Product Management Position Overview: A Quality Analyst is responsible for testing products, systems and software to guarantee they are defect-free and fulfill the quality standards of the organization. A QA will help in developing and executing test plans to ensure that all objectives are met to assess functionality, reliability, performance and quality of the service or product. Job Responsibilities: Designs, develops and executes manual (functional and usability) and automated test strategies for B2B products. Develop workflow and testing plans based on observation and knowledge of business users to accurately simulate users’ needs; creating and administering company-wide test scenarios. Empathize with end-users needs to provide an exceptional user experience. Works with Product Managers to break down Epics and Requirements into Acceptance Criteria. Ability to coordinate testing efforts across cross-functional teams. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience as a Business Analyst, Quality Analyst, or QA engineer. Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry is a plus Knowledge Skills & Abilities: Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interact with and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Excellent communication skills Knowledge of common testing methodologies (functional, usability, performance, compliance, security, regression) Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365. Typical Physical Demands: Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting-up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
