APH offers customized services for Medicaid, Medicare, and the ACA/Marketplace lines of business.     POSITION PURPOSE     The Quality and Compliance Manager serves as a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic oversight of clinical quality, corporate governance, privacy compliance, and adherence to governing guidelines. This position helps to oversee the quality and compliance framework within our population health and respiratory care programs. This leadership role will be responsible for safeguarding adherence to the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.  The Manager will design, implement, and manage a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), monitor compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, support accreditation efforts, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence. With a focus on Population Outcome Management, Complex Respiratory Management, Enhanced Respiratory Care, Quality Enhancement Initiatives, and Remote Monitoring, this leader will collaborate across clinical and administrative teams to ensure patient safety, optimize outcomes, and maintain organizational integrity.      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES    Quality Management & Improvement  * Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures excellence in clinical and operational processes. * Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality, patient outcomes, compliance, and efficiency. * Drive organization-wide quality improvement initiatives, focusing on evidence-based practices, patient safety, and clinical excellence in respiratory and population health programs. * Partner with medical and clinical teams to implement continuous improvement methodologies such as PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) and Lean Six Sigma principles. Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance  * Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations as well as payer and accreditation requirements relevant to population health and respiratory care. * Lead readiness efforts for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews. * Oversee compliance with HIPAA, CMS, NCQA, and other governing standards. * Ensure corrective action plans are developed and executed for areas of non-compliance. Audit, Assessment & Risk Management  * Design and conduct internal quality and compliance audits to validate adherence to policies, procedures, and standards. * Coordinate external audits and support payer and accreditation reviews. * Develop and oversee risk management protocols, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and mitigation strategies. * Ensure crisis response procedures and corrective actions are tested, documented, and continually refined.  Policy Development & Oversight  * Lead the review, revision, and implementation of organizational policies and procedures to reflect current regulatory requirements and best practices. * Communicatepolicy changes across departments andensuretimelyadoption.  Training & Education  * Collaborate with Training & Development to design and deliver ongoing staff education in quality standards, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation. * Foster a culture of compliance, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement across all departments.  Data, Analytics & Reporting  * Oversee collection, analysis, and interpretation of quality and compliance data toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. * Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership, governing boards, and regulatory agencies. * Provide actionable insights to improve patient safety, reduce risks, and strengthen outcomes in respiratory care and population health programs.  EMR Integration   * Use technical skills to become proficient in the operating system used for EMR. * Analyze and align clinical workflows to meet software demands. * Translate clinical needs into software/technical programming requirements. * Develop and implement system customizations to enhance user experience, data management, and business expansion. * Train & support clinical and non-clinical employees tooptimizesystem use.   Collaboration & Leadership  * Act as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies, auditors, and accreditation agencies. * Partner with clinical leadership, IT, and operational teams to ensure compliance is integrated into all workflows. * Mentor and guide team members, building a strong culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence.     SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS  * Five(5+) years of experienceinthe healthcare space, population health, respiratory care, or complex chronic disease management programs preferred. * Three(3+) yearsin a program management roleor quality-related function. * In-depth knowledge ofinternalauditingprocessespertainingtocontractual arrangements and requirements.  * Awareness offederal and state healthcare regulations. * Strongexpertiseinquality improvement methodologiessuch as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA cycles. * Proventrack recordofleading audits, accreditation reviews, and regulatory inspections. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable improvement strategies. * Experience with healthcare IT systems, EHRs, remote monitoring platforms, and data analytics tools. * Understanding quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA cycles is helpful.     EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION  * Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, respiratory therapy, or a related fieldrequired.  * Master’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, respiratory therapy, or a related fieldpreferred.  * Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)orLicensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)requiredin thestate of Tennessee. * Active, current, and unencumbered state licenserequired. * Professional certifications are strongly preferred, such as: * Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) * Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) * Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher) * A combination of equivalent education and professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.   BENEFITS & TOTAL REWARDS  * Paid Orientation and Training  * Insurance – Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life * 401k Plan – 3% match * Employee Assistance Program * Tuition Reimbursement * Continued Education Support * Mileage Reimbursement (if applicable) * Referral Bonuses * Paid Holidays (9days) * Paid Time Off (20 days) * Paid Volunteer Hours   CHARACTER & COMPETENCIES  * Courage– To have the courage to the right thing at the right time. * Ownership– To take ownership of every issue you touch. * Respect– To respect yourself, co-workers, and for those whom you care. * Excellence– To be excellent in all that you do. * Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy;
