QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Hold a primary degree in i.e., Social Care, ID Nursing, Psychology, Behavioral Support Specialist, or another relevant field.
• A specific qualification in Quality Management and have relevant experience in auditing and using quality systems would be beneficial
• Demonstrable experience in Service Delivery in a Social care setting
• Candidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
• Detailed understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• Experience and ability to use and analyse data in to support of effective decision making and monitoring of progress against service delivery targets.
• Strong research, auditing and analysis skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams.
• Full clean Driving License

DETAILS OF THE ROLE:

Salary Scale: Grade V €47,819 - €57,272 Per annum (based on a 40 hour week)
Location: Head Office Dunshane, Naas with attendance at other locations as appropriate.
Duration: Fulltime 40 hours per week– Permanent

The principal duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Participate in the design and implementation of audits in collaboration with the Compliance, Safeguarding and Risk Manager.
• Carrying out audits, setting and reviewing action plans for improvement
• Monitor and report on the effective implementation of regulatory compliance
• Leading and participating in quality improvement projects and reporting on the progress of development projects/initiatives in line with project plans
• Contributing to the development of data and information capabilities to drive evidence-based decision making.
• Maintain up to date electronic data on compliance/quality improvement programmes, and provide reports from the analysis and monitoring of data which track trends, identify risks and opportunities for improvement
• Supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of KPI’s across services.
• Compile reports including statistics, charts and analysing of information to support the work of quality.
• Deliver training and coaching in the operation of CCoI systems, and processes across the communities.
• Mentoring and coaching of community teams to understand and operate in line with CCoI processes quality improvement programmes and regulatory requirements
• Co-ordinating the implementation of new systems, structures and processes arising from the development work of the organisation.
• Undertake stakeholder engagement, surveys, consultations, data collection as required
• Work in conjunction with the line Manager to ensure that all relevant compliance policies and procedures are in place
• Ensure policies are reviewed within timeframes and co-ordinate the policy review process.
• Update and amend service provision policies when organisational procedures or legislation requires.
• Develop and update policies in an accessible format for our Community Member with Support Needs
• Ensure the most up to date policy and associated documents are accessible and used appropriately in practice.
• Raise all safeguarding or serious non –compliance and risk issues to the Head of Services immediately.
