QUALITY AND INCIDENT MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

Be the driving force behind regulatory compliance, incident management, and quality assurance across our vibrant community. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead audits, oversee investigations, and champion best practices to ensure the highest standards of care and safety. Collaborate with leadership, train staff, and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies-all while making a meaningful impact for people with developmental disabilities. Primary Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of compliance, ethical practice, and continuous improvement at all organizational levels.
  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in maintaining a formal Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) in partnership with agency leadership and programs to analyze and monitor progress towards quality improvement goals.
  • Ensures the agency maintains an effective Incident Management Program that complies with NYS OPWDD, NYS Education Department, and New Jersey reporting requirements
  • Serve as chair for the Human Rights Committee, maintaining meeting minutes and ensuring all incident records are accurate and complete.
  • Trains staff on incident reporting, resident rights, and other safety/quality assurance topics as required.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

Annual salary: Starting at $60,400, commensurate with experience
Location: Edmeston, NY, USA
