Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Material Engineer to join our team for a major port project in Kuwait. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control and material management throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for the port construction project Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and international quality standards Analyze and approve construction materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues Perform material testing and analysis, interpreting results and making recommendations Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to project leadership Implement and maintain a robust documentation system for all quality control activities Provide technical guidance and training to team members on quality control and material management best practices Ensure adherence to local and international construction codes and regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and material engineering Good knowledge of quality control methodologies and material testing techniques Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software Familiarity with international quality standards for construction projects Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Structures Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site Supervision Profession: Construction Supervision and Surveying
