Description

Education & Experience of the Quality & Manufacturing Process Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering in an industrial environment
  • Proficient in ERP systems, ISO quality standards, and process optimization techniques
  • Experience in industrial/heavy-duty products is advantageous
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD tools with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, and Six Sigma is preferred
  • Proficient in leveraging ERP systems to enhance operational efficiencie
Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical documentation to create precise drawings based on engineering specifications
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Lead the implementation of new production methods for product launches and updates
  • Collaborate with design teams to transition product concepts into scalable manufacturing processes
  • Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions for enhanced performance
  • Support pre-production validation and process readiness activities
  • Drive quality assurance initiatives and implement preventive measures for risk mitigation
  • Utilize lean manufacturing tools to optimize processes and increase efficiency
  • Lead improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with process requirements and customer expectations
  • Provide training on new processes and updated standards to operational staff
