Description

Quality and Process Improvement Manager - Global Organisation - King’s Lynn Office - £45k-£60k (dependent on experience)
Our client, a global company with offices in King’s Lynn, who is a trailblazer in their field of expertise, is looking for a Quality and Process Improvement Manager to join their management team.
This is a key role within a busy and fast-paced organisation that requires an inquisitive, strategic, proactive and collaborative leader. As the Quality and Process Improvement Manager, you will manage an established team of 5 professionals, across 2 locations, who don’t need handholding but would benefit from a ‘hands-on’ problem-solver with a thirst for compliance, quality and improvement processes.
We are looking for someone with solid knowledge and experience of QA systems, processes and procedures ideally gained in a manufacturing industry, preferably within the FMCG market, although this isn’t a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS THE QUALITY AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER WILL INCLUDE:

  • Leading a team of 5 professionals who monitor and assess the quality standards of manufactured materials and products, handle customer complaints and ensure compliance to regulatory standards
  • Fostering a collaborative culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Validating systems and practices
  • Identifying areas for process improvements and ensuring continuous improvement activities and training are effective in achieving the company’s goals and objectives
  • Managing cross-party collaboration between departments to manage all quality and process challenges, issues and projects
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements as needed
  • Oversee root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality management issues
  • Ensuring all detailed records and documentation are maintained as required
    And more.

Do you have relevant experience in similar quality and process improvement roles?

  • Have you worked in a similar role within a manufacturing / FMCG environment?
  • Do you have strong leadership skills?
  • Do you have a clean driving licence / access to a vehicle (due to the company’s location)
