The Quality and Regulation Administrator supports all areas of the team’s work by providing highly effective and accurate administrative services for the Quality Managers as directed by the Quality and Regulation Manager and Head of Quality. This varied role requires the post holder to support all areas of operation but with a particular focus on supporting the effective operation of the University’s External Examining procedures and processes. For each of these areas there will be expected to provide high quality and effective administrative services to facilitate relevant events, training activities, committees and working groups, including acting as Secretary and/or Officer as appropriate.
The role plays a key part in quality assurance and standards and, as such, key amongst the attributes are: being a creative and confident thinker; personal dynamism and innovative approach; and ability to adopt a flexible and positive approach. They will be able to plan and organise their own work, use initiative, contribute ideas for process improvement, and demonstrate a flexible approach ensuring effective service delivery outcomes. They will have experience of minute taking and report writing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of working in Higher Education administration is helpful but not essential.
