MDHS are seeking a Quality and Risk Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to our Quality department. This role will be focused on systems administration and providing comprehensive administrative assistance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the administrator of the PROMPT document control system
  • Administrative management of policies, procedures, clinical practice guidelines, forms, etc. across the organisation
  • Ensure documents are appropriately reviewed, approved and final versions distributed in a timely manner
  • Maintain electronic policy manuals across the organisation
  • Perform document control including uploading, archiving, allocation
  • Provide administration support for policy formatting
  • Act as the administrator for the VHIMS database
  • Provide high-level secretarial support for various meetings including preparing documents, coordinating logistics, and minute taking
  • Complete administrative support tasks as assigned
  • Collect and collate data
  • Perform other duties within capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected for this role

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required. Previous experience in healthcare administration, document control systems, and databases is preferred.
