Job Summary
The Quality Assistant Manager supports the Quality Manager in overseeing quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products and processes meet established standards. This role involves supervising quality control teams, coordinating audits, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining documentation in compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring the quality management system (QMS).
  • Supervise and guide quality control staff in daily operations.
  • Support internal and external audits; prepare and maintain audit documentation.
  • Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare quality performance reports and recommend process improvements.
  • Support training programs related to quality awareness and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field (master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in automotive industry
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and QMS tools.
  • Experience with GM/FORD APQP
  • Experience with 8D Report, PPAP Book, Minitab
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and quality management software.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment:

  • Office and production floor settings.
  • May require occasional travel for supplier audits or training.

· Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus (if applicable)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
