Description The Quality Associate is responsible for monitoring the quality of products during the production process in Kreate's plastic injection molding manufacturing facility. They conduct regular quality checks, communicate any out-of-spec products to the production team, maintain quality records, ensure proper pack outs for finished goods, and verify adherence to work instructions. This will be for Day Shift (7am-7:30pm) on a 2-2-3 schedule. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Monitor the quality of products during the production process in a plastic injection molding manufacturing facility. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and specifications. Communicate any products that are out of specification to the appropriate members of the production team. Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality checks and concerns. Ensure proper pack outs are completed for finished goods, following established guidelines. Verify that production associates are following work instructions correctly to maintain product quality. Be present at the production line during product changeovers to ensure proper setup and availability of tools and instructions. Collaborate with the production team to address any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and write in English. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the production team. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Superior attention to detail to accurately identify product defects and inconsistencies. Ability to consistently lift up to 30 lbs. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and squat for extended periods of up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to perform basic math skills.
