REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a quality assurance or auditing role, preferably within a children’s services of social care setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (Ofsted and CQC), regulations and standards including the Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications – minimum of NVQ/QCF 3 in Health & Social Care and/or equivalent to in a social care work related field.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to travel to different children’s home locations as required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of working directly with children in a care setting.
  • Experience of conducting investigations.
  • Experience of working with external agencies and stakeholders.

    Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As we continue to grow, we continue to seek new ways to enhance and further improve. As a Quality Assurance Administrator, you will assist the Quality Assurance Officer in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes within the children’s homes, ensuring high quality standards of care and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This will include the monitoring, auditing and reporting on the quality of care provided and to support staff in their efforts to continually improve and maintain outcomes for children within our care.

Other Duties:

  • Undertaking any other duties as required by the Quality Assurance Officer and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes
  • Participation in relevant training and professional development activities
