Description The Quality Assurance Administrator is responsible for performing the duties assigned by the QA Supervisor, which will primarily focus on maintaining records of evidence for the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and performing internal audits as assigned by the QA Manager. Responsibilities not limited to: 1. Maintain Quality Records Check and keep C of C’s related to designed incoming materials such as steel and rubber products. Oversee the calibration system to ensure all items requiring calibration are up to date. Oversee and physically manage RMA materials once they have been received into the system. Inspect and confirm transfers from other VMC facilities, reporting findings to supply chain. 2. Auditing Perform and assist ISO Internal Audits as assigned by the QA Manager. Random sampling of in-process products to confirm specifications through dimensional checks. Where a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, QA investigates/reports production line failures and identifies products for re-work. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs (record keeping). 3. Training Perform New Employee Quality System Training for both shop and office personnel. Understand SWIs sufficiently enough to give direction to new employees concerning QMS. 4. Other Back-up Mechanical inspector Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working knowledge of calibration processes for gauges and measurement equipment. Ability to perform statistical analysis related to RMAs, customer complaints, and in-house inspection data. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints and apply specifications to product inspection. Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools, including calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, durometers, and similar instruments. Ability to complete an ISO internal auditor course within the first six months of employment. Competencies Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Effective verbal communication skills. Clear and professional written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize as needed. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in an ISO 9001-certified environment.
