Company Description Our client, Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Advisor to join their fast-paced Quality team. Job Description Based in the Waikato, this diverse role is responsible for supporting the ongoing application, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality & Food Safety Management Systems (Q&FSMS) across the business. Key responsibilities include: Lead investigations into non-conformances (NCs) and verify corrective actions to ensure effective and sustainable solutions Support and coach employees in conducting thorough investigations into non-conforming situations Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) studies Partner with departmental managers to ensure PRPs and HACCP programmes are effectively applied to consistently manufacture safe and suitable products Provide technical guidance and quality systems expertise across all aspects of the Q&FSMS Conduct risk assessments relating to quality and food safety systems, including trials, change controls, HACCP reviews, design changes, and returned material assessments Undertake internal audits and support verification planning activities as required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring: At least 2 years' quality assurance experience within dairy or food manufacturing A relevant tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement Additional Information Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company is a highly respected New Zealand dairy manufacturer known for its innovation, premium products, and strong co-operative values.
