QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST (CARMEL, IN)

We are looking for someone with a critical, investigative mind to join our Quality Assurance team.
You’ll be working with our QA/Development team to ensure quality development releases. Expect to become an expert in our application as you perform manual testing of changes the development team makes and investigate bugs reported by end users. You will also be responsible for writing release notes for end users describing the changes made by development. Prior experience in software testing or at a software company is preferred.
Must be located in the greater Indianapolis area and able to commute to our Carmel, IN office.

QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree, required
• Detail-oriented
• Enthusiasm for learning new things and a willingness to become a subject matter expert in SpyGlass
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job

QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform manual testing of changes the development team makes to the application, includes developing test plans and documenting results
• Write clear, concise release notes explaining the nature of enhancements and other changes made to the application
• Assist with maintaining the user-facing documentation
• Use problem-solving and investigative skills to troubleshoot issues
