Role Overview The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for maintaining high editorial standards across course materials by reviewing written and multimedia content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and accessibility. This role applies defined quality standards and style guides to ensure materials are polished, compliant, and ready for publication. You will work closely with the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst and relevant teams to resolve issues efficiently and meet delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities: Edit and proofread course materials to a consistently high standard across written content, video scripts or on-screen text, graphics copy, and other learner-facing assets Review accessibility copy, including alt text and supporting descriptions, to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with accessibility guidelines Apply agreed quality standards, style guides, and brand guidelines across all assigned materials Check grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, and tone consistency, and ensure content reads clearly for the intended audience Review referencing and academic integrity requirements and flag issues for correction or escalation Identify, log, and track quality issues using agreed workflows and tools, ensuring a clear audit trail Coordinate with the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve content quality issues and clarify standards Manage and prioritise multiple QA tasks across projects while meeting tight deadlines Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly and timeously to the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst Contribute feedback that strengthens QA processes, checklists, and documentation to improve consistency over time Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in English, Linguistics, Education, or a closely related field Fluent English with professional-level writing and editing capability Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in editing, proofreading, or editorial quality control Demonstrated experience applying style guides and maintaining consistent editorial standards across multiple content types Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies across text and multimedia elements Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet strict deadlines Strong organisational skills and dependable time management Clear written communication skills, including the ability to provide actionable feedback to stakeholders Comfort working with digital content and collaborating across teams Experience in online education environments is advantageous Familiarity with tools such as ClickUp, Google Workspace, Wistia, Frame.io, H5P, or Canvas is advantageous Collaborative, people-centred performance culture Opportunities to grow in a fast-paced environment Work that supports high-quality learning experiences through editorial excellence A role that values precision, accountability, and constructive collaboration Our Recruitment Process The peopleworth Employer Group follows a fair, transparent, and multi-stage recruitment process designed to ensure mutual fit.
