Are you hopeful about what data and medical research can do to improve medicine? We are searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst that is excited about testing large production applications. As a QA Analyst on our DataPRO team, you will be a critical member of our engineering team revamping our existing software experience and helping build our future software from the ground up using modern technologies. You will be regularly challenged to help test and maintain a scalable application that collects large amounts of information about patients and helps researchers perform complex data analysis. At PatientIQ, QA Analysts have the chance to work on different areas of our applications and tech stacks. You will be involved in the active testing of all the parts of our technical stack. Projects You'll Work On PatientIQ Network: build the largest peer network for healthcare providers to collaborate, share de-identified data, and investigate rare diseases and novel techniques to push the boundaries of medicine DataPRO: Features utilizing our aggregate data set to create new insights/comparisons for Hospitals. Patient Engagement: Integrating the industry’s new FHIR standards to augment our patient-collected data so that we have more data with less patient or clinician effort 3rd Party Integrations: grow our library of 3rd party integrations, including with electronic medical records, wearables, and other healthcare partners Scaling: refactor existing systems and optimize the platform for scaling and increasing data flow What You'll Do Assist with defining and refining user stories with clear acceptance criteria Collaborate closely with your team of 4-5 Engineers, a Product Manager, a Designer, and Engineering Manager to understand and test new product features Identify and debug simple issues, escalating when necessary Develop an understanding of our platform’s user personas and their needs/workflows Analyze defects to determine how to improve our development process Work with others to perform root cause analysis, identify trends and corrective actions Assist in our deployment/release practices with regression testing Thoughtfully plan and implement testing strategies for new and existing features Utilize our aggregate data set to create new insights/comparisons for Hospitals Integrate the industry’s new FHIR standards to augment our patient-collected data Technologies We Use You do not need to have experience with these, but some exposure to them can be nice to have. Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Capybara, Selenium, CircleCI Javascript, React, Jest, React Testing Library GraphQL, Apollo PostgreSQL Postman Playwright What You Bring: 0-2 years of hands on experience in testing Web Applications Healthcare industry experience Creatively product-minded, interested in being proactive and fulfilling more than a given set of testing steps.
