Job Summary: Ensures software, products, and systems meet quality standards, functionality, and performance requirements before release. Essential Functions: Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases, scripts, and plans Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing Analyze test results, report findings, and recommend corrective actions Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices, creation and enhancement of SOPs Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing Self-motivated and able to focus on priorities of the organization Working in diverse workstreams, agile and non-agile as well as development and bug fix Nonessential Functions: Participating in ad-hoc projects or special assignments as directed by management Identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in existing QA or development workflows and recommending solutions to improve them Sharing best practices and lessons learned within the organization Contributing to the creation or refinement of internal guidelines, templates, or tools that streamline QA and related processes Preparing and organizing management information, such as progress reports or summaries for leadership Assisting other departments with quality-related inquiries or minor process improvements outside the main QA scope. Other duties as assigned or appropriate Education/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of experience in software QA or testing roles Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with test management and bug tracking tools Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jenkins, Rainforest, Postman) is a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and a passion for quality Experience testing EDI, web, database and mobile applications SOC knowledge and experience is a plus Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus (CSQA, CAT, CSTE) *Full benefits including: Medical,Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending, Gym Membership Reimbursement, Life Insurance, LTD, STD, 401K, 3 weeks vacation, 9 paid holidays, casual dress code and more
