Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Analyst (QA) to join our team. This role will provide support in quality planning, surveillance, and reporting for projects within federal contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in quality assurance processes and a desire to learn and grow in the federal contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
QA Plans Support:
o Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) plans and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
o Collaborate with team members to support the integration of quality requirements into project plans and documentation.
Quality Surveillance Assistance:
o Support quality surveillance activities to ensure that deliverables meet project specifications and federal requirements.
o Assist in monitoring and assessing the quality of work performed across different projects.
o Participate in audits, inspections, and assessments to help identify potential quality concerns.
Reporting and Documentation:
o Help generate and maintain quality reports, track non-conformance, and assist in documenting corrective actions.
o Assist with compiling and organizing QA data to ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and clients.
o Support the documentation and filing of quality-related records and reports in compliance with federal guidelines.
Continuous Improvement Support:
o Help identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas for enhancing quality assurance procedures.
o Assist in preparing training materials to ensure team members understand QA standards and processes.
Compliance and Standards:
o Learn about and stay updated on federal regulations and quality standards to ensure all activities comply with federal requirements.
o Assist with ensuring QA activities meet applicable laws and federal procurement regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:

o Minimum 2-year’s experience in Quality Assurance.
o An interest in learning about quality standards in the government contracting space.
Skills:
o Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring high-quality work.
o Basic understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO, CMMI) is a plus.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to support reporting and documentation tasks.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative to learn and grow.

Desired Skills:

  • Any relevant certifications in Quality Management would be advantageous but not required.
