JOB DESCRIPTION

In this Quality Assurance Analyst role, under the supervision of the development department, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing test environments.
  • Creating and executing integration tests to ensure the quality of web software.
  • Testing the validity, accuracy, and reliability of software results according to established standards.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing strategies.
  • Maintaining permanent test scenarios and defining automated and manual test scripts.
  • Writing test plans and test cases based on developer specifications.
  • Reviewing and verifying quality standards and testing procedures to maximize software efficiency.
  • Documenting tests, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance.
  • Occasionally traveling to clients’ locations for specific projects (as needed).

DESIRED PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests (an asset).
  • Basic programming knowledge (Scripts, Java, or C# ASP.NET — an asset).
  • Experience in quality assurance.
  • Understanding of software life cycles.
  • Ability to identify issues, diagnose problems, and suggest corrections.

EXPÉRIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for occasional travel.
  • Fluency in French (written, spoken, comprehension) is essential. English is an asset, as some clients are English-speaking only.
