Create your best future and join Westpac as a Quality Assurance Analyst    * Permanent Full-time opportunity   * Based in Parramatta, NSW, AU  * Hybrid working model    What’s the role  As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with Financial Crime Surveillance teams to provide clear, actionable feedback and drive uplift in investigation quality. Sitting within the Quality Assurance & Enablement (QAE) team in the Risk Division, this role is responsible for ensuring high-quality financial crime outcomes through structured quality assurance, insight generation, and continuous improvements across Financial Crime Operations.   Key responsibilities  * Deliver detailed QA reviews across financial crime alerts and case investigations, providing clear and constructive feedback  * Identify trends, themes, and gaps to support continuous improvement and uplift in quality outcomes  * Produce reporting and insights to inform leadership decision-making and performance improvement  * Partner with stakeholders across Financial Crime Surveillance to strengthen controls and investigation practices  * Contribute to root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation  * Provide coaching and support to operational teams to enhance capability and consistency    What do I need?  * 2 plus years' experience in financial crime operations, investigations, or quality assurance within banking  * Strong understanding of AML/CTF and financial crime risk frameworks  * Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends  * Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence and provide actionable feedback  * Ability to work across stakeholders and contribute to a continuous improvement culture     Our Promise to You  We’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
