Job Title: Quality Assurance and Process Modernisation Manager Salary: Competitive Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The Quality Assurance and Process Modernisation Manager will serve as a senior expert in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality auditing. The Manager will oversee the implementation of the GBTEC Tool, ensure compliance with international standards like ISO 9001, and act as the local expert on quality processes. The role involves engaging stakeholders, managing change activities, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES · Lead the local deployment of the GBTEC Tool supporting QMS and process modernization. · Be the subject matter expert on QMS standards, audits and compliance. · Coordinate with UK teams to ensure smooth transfer and deployment of quality tools. · Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to standards. · Continuously improve quality documentation and processes aligned with best practices. · Advise stakeholders on quality management best practices. · Manage change activities, including training and communication. · Track progress against milestones such as contract closure and team setup. · Escalate risks or issues related to quality compliance. · Contribute to discussions on content migration, AI, and process improvements. · Assist in resource planning for quality and audit activities. · Provide regular progress reports and KPIs related to QMS deployment. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION · Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. · Extensive experience in QMS roles, with significant exposure to managing QMS systems and audits. · Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards. · Experience with digital QMS tools (e.g., GBTEC) is preferred. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. · Fluency in English; Arabic skills are a plus. · Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. · Excellent communication skills. · Analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
