QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (preferred)
· 2+ years in GMP-regulated QA/QC operations (food, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical (preferred)
· Working knowledge of 21 CFR Parts 111 & 117, USP specifications, HACCP principles (preferred
· PCQI certification preferred; other GMP or food safety certifications a plus.
· Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
· Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across departments.
· Flexible schedule and willingness to support audits, testing, training, and fast-paced changes.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong batch record review and release documentation skills
· Experience with deviation tracking, CAPA resolution, and root cause analysis
· Competence in document control and SOP lifecycle management
· Familiarity with calibration scheduling and equipment compliance tracking
· Validation support experience (protocol review, documentation, summaries)
· Hands-on testing capability (e.g., HPLC, spectrophotometry, viscosity, stability studies)
· Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
· Effective verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical teams
· Ability to provide actionable feedback in meetings and collaborate cross-functionally
· Skilled at creating training presentations, quality reports, and process dashboards
· Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
· Primary work setting is an office environment with regular interaction on the production floor
· Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
· May require use of PPE when entering GMP production areas
· Occasional extended screen time for documentation and reporting tasks
· Ability to move between departments and maintain cleanroom protocols when applicable
