Description Reporting to the QA/QC Supervisor, this position has primary responsibility for working on all projects assigned by the QA/QC Supervisor. Responsibilities include the following: Provides general assistance to the QA/QC department Compile certification packets for customers Contributes to best practice events by leading and advising the department Ensures tasks are completed on time Performs tasks to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse Assists in conducting cycle counting to insure inventory accuracy Attends safety training and meetings; follows rules and regulations Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel Data entry Picking and packing orders Provides visual inspection during packaging of orders Confirmation and repackaging of incoming materials Details: • Monday - Friday • Typically 40 hours (OT available depending on NEFCO needs) • Half warehouse - half office Requirements High school diploma (or equivalent) Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus Basic computer skills Must have a positive, hard-working attitude Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Ability to stands on concrete floor for long periods of time Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents Analytical ability including basic math skills HS diploma or GED required.
