Training may be required on Day shift.   Ready to be the final checkpoint before our products hit the road? As a Quality Assurance Associate, you’ll support process analysis and product inspection activities to ensure defect-free products are delivered to our customers—because quality should never take a detour.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities You’ll be in the driver’s seat when it comes to quality, including: * Using precision measuring instruments to perform daily checks on product samples from various manufacturing stages, ensuring everything stays within the lane of documented procedures and specifications. * Recording and analyzing data for sample parts and PPAP parts—no loose bolts or missing numbers here. * Conducting inspections on incoming raw materials before they ever enter the production race. * Operating the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to keep measurements running like a well-tuned engine. * Maintaining accurate, up-to-date quality records daily (because paperwork matters as much as performance). * Ensuring a safe and environmentally friendly work environment by following all OSHA, EPA, and regulatory guidelines—safety belts always on. * Following all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as part of daily responsibilities. * Performing other duties as assigned to keep operations cruising smoothly. Qualifications, Education & Experience We’re looking for someone who knows how to handle quality without stalling: * High School diploma or GED preferred. * 2 years of experience in a Quality Lab environment preferred. * Experience with CMM and other measuring equipment is a plus. * Strong skills in process analysis and defect inspection. * Proficient in written and spoken English. * Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and JIT concepts. * Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word. Physical Demands This role keeps you moving—no sitting in neutral all day: * Frequent standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods. * Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. * Ability to occasionally lift and/or move at least 50 pounds. * Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. * Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safe work practices at all times.
