Please note, this is a hybrid role in Newcastle.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, maintain and execute automated UI and API tests using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent frameworks
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to support test creation, maintenance, failure analysis, defect triage and regression risk identification
• Write clear, reliable and maintainable test code
• Run automated tests through CI/CD pipelines
• Debug failing tests and identify issues across products, tests, data and environments
• Maintain stable, relevant and efficient regression test suites
• Review requirements and technical changes to identify test scenarios, edge cases and automation opportunities
• Investigate and clearly document defects
• Use test results, defect trends and pipeline feedback to identify improvements to QA practices
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and QA teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated UI and API tests
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar
• Practical experience using AI-assisted testing tools
• Experience writing maintainable test code
• Knowledge of source control, pull requests and code reviews
• Experience running automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of regression testing, test data and test environments
• Strong knowledge of QA practices, test design and defect management
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams
