Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Steel Quality Control Inspector to ensure our steel products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the steel manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities * Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished steel products for defects or deviations from specifications. * Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards * Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for audits and reporting * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues * Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ASTM, ISO, AISI standards) Required Skills & Qualifications * Knowledge of Tekla * Proven experience in steel manufacturing or metal fabrication quality control (Welder Certification) * Strong understanding of welding standards and steel grades * Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills * Strong communication and documentation abilities * Certification in quality control or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) is a plus.
