Your Impact We're looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist who will be the guardian of our quality standards and the champion of food safety across our Ohio operations. In this role, you won't just ensure compliance – you'll ensure compliance, elevate our brand, and strengthen the trust families place in our products every day. What You'll Do Inspire Quality Excellence Across Our Ohio Family of Plants Be the expert voice ensuring our facilities meet and exceed FDA, USDA, and industry standards (HACCP, SQF, BRC, FSMA) Travel throughout Ohio (40-60% travel – all within the state!) to conduct audits, share best practices, and ensure consistency across our three facilities Build strong relationships with facility teams as you guide them toward quality excellence Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement Develop cutting-edge quality assurance programs and food safety plans Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and turn challenges into learning opportunities Support exciting new product development and facility expansion projects Empower & Educate Our Teams Design and deliver engaging training programs that make food safety come alive Mentor facility quality teams and build their expertise in GMP, HACCP, and allergen control Create a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility Ensure Compliance with Confidence Coordinate third-party audits and regulatory inspections with professionalism and expertise Manage CAPA processes that drive meaningful improvements Maintain comprehensive documentation systems that stand up to any scrutiny What You Bring Required: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field 3-5 years of quality assurance/compliance experience in food manufacturing Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations and food safety systems Experience with SQF, BRC, or similar certification programs Expert understanding of food safety hazards, sanitation, and allergen management Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ohio Bonus Points For: PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification SQF Practitioner or Lead Auditor certification Multi-site or corporate quality experience Food allergen management expertise Why Join Fremont Company?
