This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Montreal office.

The Test Analyst reviews all requirements and design specifications of a project and tests the implemented functionalities of Aon’s systems for implementation.
The test analyst will also accumulate and collate all test results. This role summarizes and analyzes the results of tests as per the established metrics/measurements and makes suitable recommendations to identify and close any gaps.
Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting
Review the project requirements to ensure completeness of requirements from a testing perspective.
Assist in creating an initial estimate and work breakdown structure of the work required to perform testing.
Help to create and document Project Test Strategy and Plan, using the standard template use cases/requirements.
Track the progress of the project against scheduled delivery dates.
Identify how other facets may influence quality, and identify risks
Support the project team(s) in evaluating risks and shuffle priorities based on unresolved issues.
Notify the Project Manager upon identifying any issues or requirements changes that could impact the project schedule.
Ensure that issues arising during testing are resolved promptly.
Participate in project review meetings.
Creation & Execution
Understand functional specifications and ensure all queries are resolved by interaction with Leads or Managers.
Review tests for correctness and comprehensiveness to ensure meet project requirements.
Complete the test scripts to test processes and report defects.
Define the type of test data required for a project and prepare test data by using available data within the project team and making/creating required modifications for the new project
Create, complete, and store tests in a test script repository based on the use cases, high-level requirement scenarios, Project Test Plan, and supplemental requirements, as per the test plan and within the schedule.
Verify actual versus expected test results. Review unexpected results for the origination of the issue (test data, requirements, coding).
Submit clear, concise, and complete defects
Implement the test plan by retesting issues until closure.
Perform a test coverage traceability analysis to ensure that all requirements and supporting specifications are tested using the tests with duplicates, invalid, and out-of-scope scenarios removed.
Perform issue analysis to identify project-level/group-level trends. Document and share the trends with all collaborators.
Monitor any change in requirements, and analyze then translate the changes into test documentation. (Building scenarios and updating tests, and scripts).
Implement any client-related extensions to requirements and/or regression issues.
Gather summary test execution data and derive the requisite testing metrics from it.
Participate in documenting any trends emerging from the Test Execution Review.
Analyze trends with resolved and/or pending projects to determine the quality of artifacts and projects.
Perform overall issue analysis to identify high-risk areas for the project and adjust testing priorities accordingly.
Documentation
Log the test results by identifying specific successes or failures.
Document complete and accurate test results.
Create and/or provide input on the knowledge management documentation to aid client teams in understanding what needs to be tested, or how the tool should be used.
Responsible, at release time, for the required knowledge management documentation for the assigned project.

Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science/Engineering/Computer Applications
CEBS designation is desirable
1 + years of pension administration experience
Computer application certifications, knowledge of SDLC, Testing Methodology
Exposure to Manual and Automated testing is desirable
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Adaptability / Flexibility
Bilingual (French and English) communication, both oral and written
