JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator/988 & Tel Check, this position is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the 988 Crisis Line quality assurance systems, ensuring the delivery of quality crisis line services and reporting on behalf of Family Counselling Centre.

SKILLS

  • Must possess relevant experience working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reviewing documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team focused on achieving quality objectives.
  • Possess a valid negative Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed or in the process of completing post-secondary program in a related human/social services field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
  • Review call reports and conduct quality reviews to identify emerging issues and compare notes for accuracy.
  • Ensure calls are following policies and procedures set out by Family Counselling Centre and Standard Operating Procedures in place.
  • Provide written feedback, request edits from Responders as needed.
  • Communicate to the Program Coordinator/988 & Tel Check of any ongoing non-compliance issues.
  • Ensure program standards and requirements are met.
  • Maintain related records and statistics and produce reports as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of each caller.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as required. This will be done within the financial restraint of the Program and in consultation with the Program Manager.
  • Provide ongoing support to Crisis Line staff as needed.
  • Complete any additional duties not outlined above, as deemed necessary by the Program Coordinator and/or Program Manager.
