Summary
We are looking for an “Employee Quality Assurance - Production and Process Quality (f/m/d)” for the “Quality” department at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.
The “Quality” department is responsible for ensuring efficient problem solving in the value chain and the preventive safeguarding and improvement of production and testing processes.

Your Tasks

• Visual inspections as part of series production and repair activities on civil and military aviation equipment and acceptance tests with the (GPS Bw) of assemblies in the area of responsibility of production
• Contact person for the Bundeswehr quality inspection centre on site (GPS Bw)
• Planning and execution of all quality management tasks in the assigned production area, as well as execution of First Article Inspections (FAI), test approvals and preparation of the corresponding Certificates of Conformance (CoC’s)
• Supporting production on site in the relevant QM topics
• Support with internal and external audits / reviews
• Moderation and guidance of problem-solving teams including root cause analyses and development of measures for sustainable error elimination in internal production processes
• Initiating improvement measures in the process and on the product in collaboration with production and feeding the results back into development
• Validation and optimisation of product, test and process specifications and requirements
• Responsible for test equipment management

Willingness to travel occasionally is required.

Your Profile

• Technician training or completed technical vocational training with at least 3 years of experience in the quality area
• Professional experience in the quality area in industrial production in the application of quality methods and tools in relation to defect root cause identification and problem solving
• Experience in SAP / ERP / PLM and QM
• Experience as a test equipment officer
• Knowledge of mechanics / optronics and quality management (EN9100 and ISO9001)
• High degree of initiative, assertiveness, teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in project teams
• Good German and English skills
