Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client’s manufacturing team in Scarborough, ON. In this role, you will take ownership of quality control processes, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on quality issues across operations.
  • Lead the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to maintain compliance with quality standards.
  • Review engineering documentation to ensure products meet established quality requirements.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistent quality practices.
  • Oversee Quality Lab operations, including calibration schedules, test procedures, and equipment readiness.
  • Lead and support internal and external audits; conduct regular floor-level process checks.
  • Perform both scheduled and random quality audits on the production floor to identify and resolve issues early.
  • Run product quality tests directly in the manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to maintain or improve production standards.
  • Manage the change management cycle, ensuring process or design changes are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze quality KPIs using tools such as Excel to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, tests, and corrective actions.
  • Report and document quality concerns clearly to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a quality-focused role within manufacturing, engineering, or production.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO, FSC, or other relevant quality standards.
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs for quality processes.
  • Understanding of DFM, process improvement, and change management.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, charts, reporting).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
