Description
  • Undertaking audit tasks, surveillance of Etihad Engineering departments as well as external contracted service providers, assessing compliance with the applicable UAE GCAA regulations, Etihad Engineering procedures and other applicable requirements.
  • Verifying the effectiveness of processes, procedures, and control of the operations (as applicable based on the audit scope).
  • Reviewing the implementation of the quality management system during audits.
  • Conducting risk assessments during audits or whenever deemed necessary, liaising with the Quality Manager and relevant business partner.
  • Accountable for documentation, Forms and Certificates, ensuring these are approved and up to date.
  • Executing quality auditing and surveillance of training/ maintenance functions.
  • Preparing and tracking quality assurance reports.
  • Developing and maintaining quality assurance and training/ maintenance procedures.
  • Providing guidance/training on quality assurance and safety procedures.
  • Reviewing and approving training materials and training checklists.
  • Conducting QABs to assess maintenance personnel competency.
  • Implementing changes to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 3years of job-related experience including two years direct or experience of working with a quality assurance department with audit functions, or
  • Diploma/Aircraft License with at least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance including two years direct or experience of working with a quality assurance department with audit functions
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System principles and its framework
  • Knowledge and understanding of GCAA/ EASA CAR/CAR 66/145/147 regulations.
  • Knowledge and practical application of aviation regulations; and experience at interpreting and translating data into recommendations
  • Have demonstrated good knowledge of the fields/scopes to be audited
